SANDOVAL DEPUTY SHERIFF CASAUS ANNOUNCES CANDIDACY FOR SHERIFF
Bernalillo, NM-January 14, 2014-Jesse Casaus announces his candidacy for Sheriff of Sandoval
County. Casaus was born and raised in Bernalillo. He currently serves as a deputy sheriff with the County since 2008.
Casaus also served as a patrolman with the New Mexico State Police Department for seven years prior, where his duties included training new officers. Casaus has an Associate of Arts from CNM (f.k.a.TVI) with emphasis in criminology.
Casaus has volunteered and participated in local drug awareness programs and public service campaigns.
Casaus currently resides in Placitas with his wife and three children. He is heavily involved with his children’s extra curricular activities in martial arts and music. “I know I will do a good job as Sheriff, especially coming in as a veteran deputy. Also, being a lifelong resident of the county
